Sponsors

Sponsorship opportunities abound. There are daily hits on the website by people from across the entire spectrum of age, interest, ability and background. We run some high profile events and activities and some that are really focussed on aiding and supporting the grass roots development of sport. Much of what we do is facilitating other worthwhile agendas. The Surrey Youth Games is a good example. We do not run the Games but we actively provide some expertise, time and service to it that is invaluable to its’ continued and growing success.

As of today, there are no sponsors for Sport Guildford – at least as such. Guildford Borough Council recognise Sport Guildford to deliver some key benefits to local sport – including funding distribution. Many of our individual activities are sponsored to enable them to function. These include the support of the annual Sport for All Day given by Spectrum Leisure Centre and many sponsors of the various awards distributed to deserving sportspeople. The Sport for All Day is a day deliberately aimed at some of our local young people who have not always been included (or sometimes even considered) in main-stream sport.
